What Happens When You Call

Most of our emergency calls come in between 6pm and midnight. That's when people get home, run a bath, and realise the boiler's packed in. Or they flip a light switch and nothing happens. Whatever it is, the process is the same.

You call us, we pick up. No call centres, no automated menus. We'll ask a few questions to understand the problem, and then we dispatch the right engineer. If it's a gas issue, you get a Gas Safe engineer. Electrical fault? NICEIC approved electrician. We don't send a general handyman to guess. You get someone who actually knows the system they're working on.

Our average response time across South London and Kent is under an hour. We keep engineers spread across the area specifically so we can get to you fast, whether you're in Bromley or Brixton. Once on site, the engineer will assess the situation, make it safe, and carry out the repair there and then if possible. If parts are needed, we'll make the area safe and come back the next day to finish the job.

There's no call-out charge. You only pay for the work that's done, and we'll always tell you the cost before we start. No surprises at the end.

Emergency Cover for Landlords

If you manage rental properties, you already know that emergencies don't wait for office hours. A tenant calls at 2am with a burst pipe, and you need someone there fast. Not just to fix the problem, but to minimise damage to the property and keep the tenant from losing confidence in your management.

We work with landlords and letting agents across South London and Kent as their go-to emergency provider. That means your tenants can call us directly, we'll attend the property, fix the issue, and send you a full report with photos afterwards. You don't need to be on site or lose sleep coordinating tradespeople at odd hours.

For landlords with multiple properties, we offer maintenance contracts with priority emergency response. Your properties go to the front of the queue. We also handle the follow-up. If a burst pipe has damaged a ceiling, we'll arrange the plastering and repainting too, rather than leaving you to book three different trades.

Common Questions

How quickly can you get to me?

Our average response time is under an hour across South London and Kent. We have engineers based throughout the area so there's usually someone nearby. During peak times like severe weather events, it may take a bit longer, but we'll always give you a realistic timeframe on the phone.

Is there a call-out fee?

No. We don't charge a call-out fee. You pay for the work carried out, and we'll agree the cost with you before we start. If we attend and the issue turns out to be something simple like a tripped breaker or a closed valve, there's no charge.

Are your engineers Gas Safe and NICEIC registered?

Yes. Every gas engineer on our team is Gas Safe registered, and every electrician is NICEIC approved. We can provide registration numbers on request. All our tradespeople are vetted and qualified.

What should I do while I wait for the engineer?

For a water leak, turn off the water at the stopcock (usually under the kitchen sink) and open taps to drain the system. For a gas smell, turn off the gas at the meter, open windows, and don't use electrical switches. Call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999 first, then call us. For an electrical fault, switch off the main breaker at your consumer unit if it's safe to do so.

Do you work on weekends and bank holidays?

Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Evenings, weekends, Christmas Day, it doesn't matter. Emergency rates apply outside standard hours, but we'll always tell you the rate before we dispatch an engineer.

Got an Emergency?

Don't wait. Call us now and we'll get someone to you as fast as possible.
